How to Use Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware

Many people have started to ask me how to use Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware. Below, I will show how to use it with some helpful pictures. This software is great in that it is free and works to cure many different malware and rogue software programs which may be infecting your computer.

Start by downloading  Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware (mbam-setup.exe) and save it to you computer. Click here to download.

You must first install the software. Find the software file which you downloaded and double click on it.

File

After your complete installation, tell it to update the definitions after installation and open after you click finish.

finish

Next perform a quick scan (you can also do a full scan, however, that will take longer).

start

When scanning is finished click on the “Show Results”. Make sure that all detected threats are clicked on and click on Remove Selected.

remove

Then Restart your computer. Then your done.

Again, this software has worked for many and should also work for you. Give it a try and record any comments you have before.

I am not a computer genius so I didn’t think I was able to remove this scummy application myself. It was actually pretty easy. I found the application files in the Program File/Applications directory. I deleted as many files as I was able to. Then, I changed the file names for those files that I was not able to delete and moved them to the desktop. Then, I rebooted the computer and ran the anti-virus program to clean up the trojan virus. After that, I was able to delete the files on the desktop as well. It looks like it worked on my machine as the pop up hasn’t come back yet. I didn’t have to unregister files or load other antispyware appolication on my machine. I haven’t figured out how to eliminate the annoying pop up thing in the tool bar, but at least I don’t have the nasty applicatio on machine.
Good luck!

Free program removed 64 self generating malware including A very irritating pop up malware.
The company is based in Germany that has this fine removal tool and has a physical business address. I want to purchase but my credit card bans Germany and most European countries.
They need to accept PayPal or get a us payable address. Thanks for a job well done/
FYI -When running ANTI malWare program disconnect the internet so malware will not be able to self propogate.

How does one get it to default to ENGLISH? When I downloaded it, it asked if I wanted English, and I clicked YES – however, it downloaded in GERMAN. If it weren’t for this website I would not have known what to click on after the scan in order to remove the malware. Thank you. And assistance with the ENGLISH would be greatly appreciated.

The program for removal of Antivirus 2023 runs fine – it has removed the virus – partially – but when I run Explorer it pop again with a message in Google Home Page – that google recomends the Antivirus 2023 Program and now its impossible to be on the net via Explorer – every access to a home page is stopped Any Solution for that?
Anti Malware has been executed it shows no treats – but the antivirus 2009 still pop up on the PC GB Kurt Sternberg
