I can’t run stopzilla because the IAPro ‘Control Center’ takes over before I reach the desktop. I have removed program files and registry entries as you outline in ‘manual removal’ but it still runs on startup. Is there another name the files/registry entries could be hiding under?

If Control center locks things up at start you may be able to get around it by hitting CTRL/ALT/DELETE at the same time to start your windows task manager. You will probably only see one program running, right click on it and select “go to process” this takes you to the process tab, next right click on the ccmain.exe and select end proecss. You probably still will not see your desktop. To restor your desktop click on the file menu in Windows task manager and select “new task (run). In the window that opens type in explorer.exe and hit enter. Hopefully this will restore your desktop and alow you to use the infected computer to download a removal tool. Good luck!
