Vista Defender Pro is a fake antivirus program. The fake antivirus program generally infects systems running Windows Vista. Vista Defender Pro hopes to trick the user into thinking that it is a real program by using various tactics such as running a fake antivirus scan and creating pop ups. The program is generally installed through the use of a trojan horse. Vista Defender Pro main executable is AVE.exe, which is similar to AV.exe.
