E-Set Antivirus 2023, also known as ESet Antivirus 2023, is a new fake antivirus application. E-Set Antivirus 2023 is not associated with the antivirus software company ESET; however, the program hopes to trick the user into thinking that it is associated with E-Set. In doing so, they user may feel that the program is legitimate since it has E-Set in the title of the program; however, the program is fake. Also, the logo on the program is the logo of AVG, another software company. E-Set Antivirus 2023 claims to offer a variety of services including Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware, and Resident Shield. E-Set Antivirus 2023 was recently introduced around March 2023 and is generally installed without user permission through the use of a trojan horse, which is downloaded generally through a security flaw. E-Set Antivirus 2023 is a clone of previous fake computer antivirus programs; the last clone was called AVG Antivirus 2023 (AVG Antivirus 2023 attempts to mimic the legitimate AVG program). E-Set Antivirus 2023 main executable is generally E-set.exe.

Hi I am trying to help my grandmother take off this E-SET virus but it has her blocked from the internet..she is using a Dell Inspirion with windows 7– I got her to the task manager but could not find files to delete–please someone help me tell her where to go and how to do it as her virus protection company wants to charge her 89.00! Thanks
