I removed the found files but on restart i cant get past logon. When starting in safe mode it stops at the mup.sys driver. HELP!!

I’m having the same problem–not able to log in to my computer as owner or administrator. No matter what I try, it takes me to the login page that I can’t get past. If I could log in and save all my data, I could just restore my computer.

I had same issue and had to run an XP repair from the OEM CD Rom. Then had to edit the registry to restore Task Manager which had been disabled and re enable the ability to change the desktop background. Make sure all registry entries relating to the IS2010 and Antivirus 2023 are removed.

Had problem with logon. Restored back the winlogon32.exe which is a bad program. Had to boot from alternative. Later removed winlogon32 using freefixer
