Windows Safety Toolkit is a new fake antivirus application introduced on 4/21/2012. Windows Safety Toolkit is not part of the Windows operating system even though it has a similar interface; the program does this in order to attempt to trick the user into thinking that the operating system is telling the user that the computer is infected. Windows Safety Toolkit is designed like this in order to help make profits for the creators of the software because it wants the user to purchase the program. If the computer is infected with Windows Safety Toolkit, we recommend removing Windows Safety Toolkit and then increasing security for the computer since Windows Safety Toolkit was likely downloaded from the internet. Windows Safety Toolkit will display a variety of warnings and alerts to draw the attention of the user.
