Fix Background Issues AntivirXP08
To fix the annoying background that results from the malware, I recommend doing the following. Please use the information below at your own risk and consult many other sources. It worked great for me when I got this malware
Start by Clicking Start and then going to Run.
Put regedit.exe in the Run dialog box and Press ENTER on your keyboard.
Navigate to:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
Right-click NoDispScrSavPage to select Modify.
Change the value to 0.
