First use the f8 key when starting, go into safe mode(without network). Use Administration and then you can do the rest.

Well, I did the things that were suggested (starting in safe mode first), but the computer is still unusable. I was not able to find all the files and registry entries listed, but I removed all the ones that were there. I could not access msconfig – I got a message that states it could not be found. I restarted the computer, and I can’t run any programs. It now has an error that says tskmger cannot be found (but it worked when I was in safe mode). Any time I try to run a program, I get the “open with” window – I have to choose a program with which to run a program….total mess. When I run programs, I get security warnings about downloading files from my own computer (so I open I ie and get “File download security warning. Do you want to run or save this file? Name: ieexplore.exe From C:\program files\internet explorer). I think that these are actually generated by windows. I can run chrome, but not ie. (I can cancel the security warnings in chrome, but get a looping error in ie.)

My computer won’t allow me to run the STOPzilla application, it keeps giving me a pop-up stating that “windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permisions to access the item.” I’ve tried to run the application under “computer administrater” even though, I’m already that, and logged on under such. How can I run the STOPzilla?

Infected with Win Anti Pro on 8/8/09. Left on Business trip, shut down system, when returned and started up WAPro was in. Can’t run my spyware programs. Can’t run email program (eudora). Can’t enter safe mode. Can’t access msconfig. Can get firefox to run (not by clicking or open command) but by run as command and then quickly getting rid of alert in Task manager applications.

What do I do?
